Hi, my name is Simone

I am a huge book lover with a passion for growing my own veggies in our garden, questioning the status quo, challenging norms, and our beautiful planet with all her inhabitants. And I love to expose myself to radical new ideas and thinkers!

Ever since I was little I have been hiding in books and questioning stuff. Looking back at little me, I realise I had some big questions for a little girl. Questions my parents couldn't or wouldn't answer. 

I was always looking up stuff in all kinds of books.

My love for the planet, the questioning, and me becoming a mother, led me into the world of activism a few years ago; taking the streets to protest against our government.

Once I started this journey, my hunger for knowledge grew even more, because every answer I found, resulted in ten more questions. And walking into a bookshop to find answers to my questions often felt overwhelming, because I had no idea where to start and what to exactly look for. I needed a bookshop where I could walk in and be surrounded by all the books I am looking for (even the ones I didn't know I needed in my life).

So I started that bookshop!

I hope this will be a space for curious readers who are looking for access to the knowledge and inspiration they need to challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and ignite change. I want to offer books that broaden perspectives, empower voices, and cultivate a rich dialogue that reshapes society.
